Charlie Varon - a humorist, solo performer, and
award-winning playwright. The San Francisco Chronicle
calls him "the city's brightest satiric star," and the
San Francisco Bay Guardian calls him "a world-class
local treasure, a joyous performer, and an inspired
writer." He also teaches workshops in solo
performance and writing for the stage.
Keith Hennessy - tours extensively as a solo
performer, director, teacher and collaborator creating
works marked by their untamed physicality, sharp
intelligence and fantastic invocations of queer
spirit. Keith directs the company Circo Zero, which
is a fusion of popular and experimental, contemporary
and ancient performance forms. "Keith Hennessy's
stage presence burns; he ignites any subject he
tackles. Sacred, violent, and compassionate impulses
shape our everyday lives; it is through a genius like
Hennessy, though, that we can confront the state of
the human contradiction." --Katia Noyes, SF Weekly
Ellen Sebastian Chang - director, writer and creative
consultant. Ellen co-founded and was artistic
director of Life On The Water, an active theatrical
presenting and producing space from 1986 to 1995. This
organization was recognized internationally for its
commitment to merging contemporary aesthetic
sensibilities with deep social commitment. She has
collaborated, directed and consulted with solo
performers Awela Makeba, Holly Hughes, Whoopi
Goldberg, Anne Galjour, Leonard Pitt, Sean San Jose
and Charlie Varron.
Michael Torres - Award Winning Actor and Director
Michael Torres is a founding member, producer and
actor of the highly esteemed San Franciso based
theatre group, Campo Santo. Some of the playwrights
with whom he has worked are Naomi Iizuka, Octavio
Solis, Migdalia Cruz, Jose Rivera, Sam Shepard and
Luis Saguar. Michael has received awards for his
roles in Hellhound on my Trail, Shoppers, and
References to Salvador Dali Make Me Hot from
institutions such as Dean Goodman, The San Francisco
Bay Guardian and Backstage West. As an actor he has

Paris, Barcelona, Madrid and throughout Germany.
