<P>I continually hear, "I'm not very good at marketing myself", "I don't like those big networking events", and "Why is it I need to meet more new people?" <BR> <BR>Well, this Monday, April 28, 2003 you will learn how, where, when and why to network at Theatre Bay Area's FREE annual event: Theatrefest!<BR> <BR>My mom, Joanne Black, and I will be presenting the first break-out session of the evening: Networking for Theatre Artists-Tips for Success from 5:45-6:30 pm. Learn the skills and then go out and use them for the rest of the evening. Afterall, in the arts, your business is your talent, and your product is yourself. Selling your unique product comes from developing long-term relationships, and networking is the best way to create them. All you need is the right strategy: thoughtful preparation, strategic interaction and disciplined follow-up methods. Our mother-daughter duo will teach you how to take the work out of networking. This session is for all theat!
