[BATA] THE BIG 40 seeks extras

To Whom It May Concern,

I've been referred to your listservs by an actor currently working on 
our short.

THE BIG 40, a short, period piece (description below) is currently 
seeking extras.

The film is set in 1955. Extras must be camera ready (i.e. appropriate 
for era - natural hair, no piercings, etc.) and will receive some 
assistance with wardrobe and makeup. Best bet: ladies, bring your own 
red lipstick; men, come in a wife beater and/or t-shirt and jeans. Upon 
positive response, I can put you in contact with our wardrobe and 
makeup people.

Film plans to shoot August 24 through September 1st. Exact schedule for 
extras will be cleared Tuesday morning.

The story has attracted a truly fantastic cast and crew, even with our 
modest budget! The crew is professional, considerate, and generally 
worth writing home about.

As always, credit, copy and meals will be offered. Once post has begun 
we'll send out notifications of progress. Good Karma is important.

This will be a project we'll all be proud of!

Description follows.

100 Word:
Set over the span of one week in 1955, THE BIG 40 tells the story of 
proud and determined Dominic Cavalle, his new job with the Mob, the 
fiance who drove him to it and her hard luck brother Charlie: the one 
man who unwittingly stands between Dom and his white picket fence. 
Interweaving this post-war race to keep up with the Joneses, the law 
and the rent, THE BIG 40 mambos between space and time to show how 
fortunes are made, fish become sharks and women stop being ladies.
