[BATA] New South Bay audition class starts up Jan 15th!

Hey guys!!!

Just a reminder that there is a NEW class starting up in the south bay!!!!

As always...let me prep this email by the lastest gossip on our current=20
students:

Susan Papa got called in for CSI and got a callback to boot! And Heather Lon=
g=20
got called in for Fraiser! And update on Jan Haley Soule: she's been working=
=20
pretty much every week on Passions (sweet!!!) and still comes to class even=20
though she's a soap star! :-)

I just get a kick out of seeing how well our actors are doing especially=20
since we're just a wee little acting school with one teacher that's churning=
 out=20
some awesome talents. The casting directors that have seen our actors are so=
=20
amazed by Nancy's coaching (We have students that are going from being green=
 to=20
being competitive in a year's time or less) that several of them want to=20
actually audit (not guest teach) Nancy's class just to see how see teaches a=
nd the=20
methods that she uses.

I think that the main reason why Nancy is such a kick-butt teacher is that=20
she prepares us for the REAL world of casting...meaning we have to learn how=
 to=20
do that magical audition without the benefit of rehersal with our scene=20
partners (because in an actual audition situation, you really won't know who=
 you are=20
reading with or how they will be reading it) or the benefit of seeing the=20
whole script (we work off of 3-6 page sides like an actual audition).=20

It's like she stacks the deck against her actors in class, so that in=20
auditions - where you only have your scene to bring all the life and humanit=
y and=20
magicalness of you - her actors are prepared for whatever comes their way.=20

Anyhoo, the point of the email is that Nancy is an awesome acting coach...an=
d=20
word is getting around! So much so, that we've had so much interest that=20
Nancy is=A0 starting a South Bay (near San Jose) class to free up some space=
s in San=20
Francisco, and to make it easier on our students that actually live in San=20
Jose.

Again, it'd be Thursdays, starting January 15th, 2004 from 4-7 pm.

It'd be a great way to start the new year!
