We are down to 1 open spot in our weekend class featuring the casting
director of "ER" and "Third Watch": John Levey, CSA! If you have been waiting for
the right time to take one of these amazing weekend classes that we've been
holding for the past several years, now is the time! John's experience, also
previously having cast "The West Wing" and "Presidio Med" has instilled a vision
of the casting process that is one of the most open and amazing visions to
grace the casting industry. All this will be brought to the classroom with John
when he comes up to teach next weekend on JULY 19th & 20th.
During the weekend, John will be teaching and lecturing on a variety of
topics including his own industry perspective, things that stand out and really
make a good audition great, demystifying the process, ways to market yourself in
the industry and what goals to shoot for, ways to strengthen your professional
relationships within the industry, differences in casting procedure from
project to project, office etiquette, open question and answer, as well as working
on scene and audition technique, cold reading, and talking about head-shots
and resumes for the actors attending. In the past, the classes that we've had
taught by casting directors and industry exec's have been tremendous
opportunities for actors to get unique opinions and perspectives on how actors can
improve all the aspects of the acting industry. It has also presented actors with
an incredible forum to receive feedback from the best about their acting
craft.
Again, there is just 1 spot left. Don't be one to miss out on this rare
opportunity as we don't know the next time John will be available to teach another
weekend. Contact us now to find out more information about signing up for
this class!
