Congratulations to First Take students Kathy McGraw and Comika Beaudry!
Comika for booking yet another co-star role, this time on "Lion's Den" and Kathy
for booking her first 2 major co-star roles on "Boston Public" and "Strong
Medicine" last week! We are so incredibly happy for both of these incredible
actresses and definitely for Kathy who is proving that perseverance and hard work
pay off no matter what, especially for someone who isn't starting off her
acting career as a teenager!

Ask the question: How many acting schools in San Francisco are preparing
actors to effectively audition for Film and Television in LA to the point where
they are getting the job? To date, First Take students have booked recurring,
guest star and co-star roles on many major network TV series including "Boston
Public", "ER", "Alias", "NYPD Blue", "Strong Medicine", "The Agency", "Monk",
"Passions", "Crossing Jordan", "Haunted", and "Dragnet"!

First Take Students have auditioned for an incredible number of features
including lead and supporting roles "Freddie vs. Jason", "Polar Express" starring
Tom Hanks, "My Baby's Momma" starring Eddie Griffin, "Austin Powers 3", "Rush
Hour 2" and too many others to count!

First Take students have also auditioned for such major network TV series as
"Days Of Our Lives", "General Hospital", "The West Wing", "Boom Town", and
"Dead Like Me". Again, there are just to many to list all of them.

Suffice it to say, First Take's track record for getting actors ready to
audition and to work has been amazing. THE RESULTS SIMPLY SPEAK FOR THEMSELVES!
Nancy's method and personal technique has proven it's ability to steadily help
actors develop the fundamental skills necessary for being competitive.

We are now taking reservations for Nancy's next class to begin on AUGUST
19TH. This class will be an NIGHTTIME class running from 7pm to 10pm every
Tuesday. Students who are repeating from the previous session with Nancy have
already begun signing up. This has left us with a shortage of seats in this class
beginning next month. I strongly suggest moving quickly to reserve your spot
in this class.

The main focus of Nancy's 8 Week Class is to teach actors of all levels to
learn how to break down a script into it's essential parts, analyze it and
identify with it as is essential to an effective audition. As a student, you will
be challenged to look at scripts in a new way that will help you to identify
with them and make them more real for you. As you progress through the class,
Nancy provides personalized coaching to help you improve your audition skills.
This is essential in that it will help you to learn "How to get the job!"
Nancy also provides career counseling for where you should go next in the
development of your acting craft. She will also help you out with self-marketing
and networking advice as well as teach you about the "in's and out's" of the
film and TV market.

Nancy's class is definitely not just for seasoned veterans. She's had
tremendous success with both initiate as well as experienced. The techniques that
Nancy teaches are based on universal principles that apply to actors at any
level. Nancy's personally technique and specific system deals with the challenges
of Film and TV audition. It focuses on such principles as finding objectives,
developing character backgrounds, script analysis, and personalization as it
relates to Film and TV audition preparation.

Even though many of Nancy's actors have had some wonderful success, it is
important to note that participation in any First Take class or seminar does not
guarantee future work. Contact us immediately to reserve this last open spot
in the class.
