We are now down to 3 spots in our June 21st & 22nd weekend class with casting
director Richard Hicks. Richard is currently casting the new Richard Gere
feature, "Shall We Dance" due to begin filming at the end of June. Richard's
credits also include such critically acclaimed movies as "A Mighty Wind", "Igby
Goes Down" as well as the hit TV series, "Curb Your Enthusiasm" and too many
pilots to name in this e-mail. Because Richard is a casting director that is
as busy as he is and does not normally guest teach classes, we don't know when
the next time he will be available to come up to the Bay Area. This is truly
a rare opportunity that you won't want to miss.
Getting to meet and learn from someone like Richard Hicks is one of those
opportunities that only comes around once in a while. Where we have been able to
bring up to the Bay Area some of LA's most successful and talented industry
professionals, we also recognize that there are many actors who have not been
able to register for our classes due to the limited number of actors that we
allow in. Any actor that has taken one of our past weekend classes can attest
to the amount of information, knowledge and experience one can soak up from one
of these weekend long events. During the class, you'll be able to pick the
brain of one of the industries finest casting directors, get personal scene
coaching from him, learn cold reading technique and hear his personal experience
of what the casting directors' experience of actors is like.
I cannot stress enough how valuable this type of class is. I must also
impress upon you that these spots will not remain available much longer. Contact
us immediately for information on how to grab one of these last spots.

* This is not a job interview or audition. The presence of a casting director
is neither a guarantee nor a promise of employment. The intent of the class
is solely educational. Attending a Workshop is not a way to obtain employment
as an actor. Such contact as you may have with a casting director at a workshop
rarely results in any further contact with that casting director or any
company affiliated with that casting director.
