Steve Brooksbank, CSA who was previously scheduled to come to the Bay Area to
teach in May, has rescheduled and is now coming up in just 2 weeks on June
28th & 29th.

It's no surprise that Steve is coming from one of the busiest, most
experienced and most successful casting offices in LA, Slater/Brooksbank Casting. He
is currently casting 3 new TV series: "Peacemakers" with USA Network; "Line Of
Fire" with ABC; and "Threat Matrix" on ABC; as well as also casting a new
feature, "Family Of The Year".

Steve has taught in the past for us and has really provided a wonderful
experience for the actors that took his class. One of the things that really stood
out the last time that Steve was up and was somewhat of a personal trademark
is the personal one-on-one meetings that Steve held with each actor in the
class during the weekend. During that time Steve gave feedback, notes and advice
as well as answering questions that they had.

During the weekend, Steve will be teaching and lecturing on a variety of
topics including his own industry perspective, things that stand out and really
make a good audition great, demystifying the process, ways to market yourself in
the industry and what goals to shoot for, ways to strengthen your
professional relationships within the industry, differences in casting procedure from
project to project, office etiquette, open question and answer, as well as
working on scene and audition technique, cold reading, and doing a review of
head-shots and resumes for the actors attending. In the past, the classes that we've
had taught by casting directors and industry exec's have been tremendous
opportunities for actors to get unique opinions and perspectives on how actors can
improve all the aspects of the acting industry and craft.

As I said earlier, this class is a make up of a class that Steve was
scheduled to teach back in May. As this is the case, there are already many spots
that have been filled by actors who previously signed up for the class. There
are still a few spots available for the weekend. However, we do not expect them
to stay unreserved for long. If you are interested in attending this class,
contact us as soon as possible for information on signing up.

* This is not a job interview or audition. The presence of a casting director
is neither a guarantee nor a promise of employment. The intent of the class
is solely educational. Attending a Workshop is not a way to obtain employment
as an actor. Such contact as you may have with a casting director at a workshop
rarely results in any further contact with that casting director or any
company affiliated with that casting director.
