I'm sure this notice is something that you were expecting to get sooner or
later. Our weekend class on June 28th & 29th with Steve Brooksbank has 2 spots
remaining open. Steve is currently casting 3 new TV series: "Peacemakers"
with USA Network; "Line Of Fire" with ABC; and "Threat Matrix" on ABC; as well as
also casting a new feature film, "Family Of The Year".
It's really no surprise to us knowing Steve's reputation as both a casting
director and a speaker. In past classes taught in the Bay Area by Steve, the
actors have been floored by the presentation he gives on the business and the
scene work that he does with the actors. His longevity in the business as well
as being a partner with one of the most well known casting directors in the TV
and Film industry have given a rare perspective on what works and what
doesn't work.
During the weekend, Steve will be teaching and lecturing on a variety of
topics including his own industry perspective, things that stand out and really
make a good audition great, demystifying the process, ways to market yourself in
the industry and what goals to shoot for, ways to strengthen your
professional relationships within the industry, differences in casting procedure from
project to project, office etiquette, open question and answer, as well as
working on scene and audition technique, cold reading, and doing a review of
head-shots and resumes for the actors attending. In the past, the classes that we've
had taught by casting directors and industry exec's have been tremendous
opportunities for actors to get unique opinions and perspectives on how actors can
improve all the aspects of the acting industry and craft.
Again, there are now 2 spots open in this class. I cannot stress enough the
kind of opportunity this is to pick up the volume of information that you can.
Consistently every month, we've been able to bring up the "who's who" of the
casting industry. Each weekend represents a rare opportunity to meet and
learn from a unique perspective of someone who is entrenched in the business that
every film and TV actor is trying to break into. Jump in on this opportunity
to learn from one of the best.

* This is not a job interview or audition. The presence of a casting director
is neither a guarantee nor a promise of employment. The intent of the class
is solely educational. Attending a Workshop is not a way to obtain employment
as an actor. Such contact as you may have with a casting director at a workshop
rarely results in any further contact with that casting director or any
company affiliated with that casting director.
