3 New Solo Comedies by 3 of SF’s Best Solo Comedians -
FREE

We invite you to join us for an evening of 3 brand new
solo comedies by three of San Francisco’s most
heralded solo performers at The Marsh (1062 Valencia)
on Tuesday, May 20 at 8:00 or on Wednesday, May 21 at
8:00. And it’s free to anyone who receives this note.
Here’s what you’ll see:

Can enlightenment be found eating Mexican food with a
two-year old Johnny Cash impressionist? Solo
performer Mark Kenward (“Riding From Normal,” “The
Yoga of Moby-Dick”) explores that very proposition in
his latest, “Rice & Beans.” One part comedian
("hilarious"), one part poet ("an astonishing
word-slinger"), and one part actor ("commanding"),
Kenward's restless art explores psychedelics,
fatherhood, and the cutthroat world of yoga studio
management.

San Francisco comedian James Judd untangles a
hilarious, self-revealing tale of soap opera stars,
trailer park criminals, backstabbing book report
queens, Beijing hookers, Patty Hearst, dangerous
geese, gun toting lawyers, and dueling Motown divas in
his new piece, “7 Sins.” Judd a former member of LA’s
venerable comedy group, The Groundlings, has appeared
on Evening at the Improv and written for The Tonight
Show. Variety calls Judd, "truly pee-in-your-pants
funny!"

Bruce Pachtman’s first solo show “don’t make me look
too psychotic” ran for a combined 84 weeks in San
Francisco and Philadelphia. Pachtman now presents an
excerpt from his second piece, whose working title is,
“VERY Funny Play #2.” This time, Pachtman wrestles
with two big questions. Can a person honestly consider
his (show) business venture successful if, when all is
said and done, it leads him to contemplate filing for
bankruptcy? And, if so many of his friends found their
way to celebrity and fortune, why didn’t he?

To obtain tickets, just send an e-mail to
brupach@aol.com and let us know how many tickets you’d
like, which date you’d like to see the show. Also let
us know how you heard about the show.
