[BATA] 1 Woman (18-35) needed for cast of Conserving Melissa

[Renegade Theatre Experiment]

We are looking for 1F (18-35) to join our cast for the World Premiere of
Conserving Melissa (by Tom Jacobson, dir: Megan Murphy).

In Conserving Melissa, a conservator's obsession with the Egyptian mummy
she's restoring threatens her impending marriage in this funny romance
cursed with confusion. You never really know someone till they're dead....

We are seeking an actor for the following part:

MELISSA/AUSET-URT - a mysterious young woman - 1F (18-35)

Women of color encouraged to audition. Singing experience preferred, but
not necessary.

Please prepare one 1-2 minute comedic monologue. Monologues not to exceed
2 minutes. Also cold read from script. Please bring headshot and resume.

Melissa Script Workshopping: 4/26-6/13 (scheduled as needed).
Melissa Rehearsals: 6/14-7/28.
Melissa Performances: 7/29-8/1, 8/5-8/8, 8/12-8/14.
