[BATA] ASAP casting Hunchback

CALIFORNIA TRAVEL TROUPE

Our production of Hunchback is in trouble. We've had 4 people drop out due
to time conflicts.

We are looking for 2 men and 2 women to play multiple parts.

one man to play Frollo, the Archbishop of Paris
one man to play Clopin, the King of Beggars; Fra Michael, assistant to the
Archbishop; a court clerk

one woman to play Isabel, a Parisian citizen; Aloise, a beggar
one woman to play Venus, a Parisian actress; Claire, a Parisian beauty;
Henriette, a beggar

We are also looking for someone to take charge of costumes. The production
presentation is a rustic Everyman play. Actors will be dressed like the
rustics from Midsummer Nights Dream, basic peasant.

We are in our first week of rehearsal now. The show opens May 21 and closes
June 6 and plays Friday and Saturday evenings at 8pm and Sunday at 2pm. The
shows are played at Venue 222, a converted black box studio on the SF City
College Phalen Street campus, just north of the Diego Rivera Theatre.
