Hi, this is Warren McClure for those of you who don't recognize my personal
email address. I'm back in my casting mode again.
Here's the gig:
We are in pre-production on a TV spot that will air around election time this
fall (last 2 weeks in October). It concerns emergency services and how
important it is for us and our families to have access to it when we need it the
most. California hospital emergency rooms are, in many cases, under-staffed,
under-funded and many could end up shutting down.

Our casting request this time around is a little strange...
we need to find a woman who is at least 60+ years old (or looks the part)
probably caucasian, non-union, who has a compelling personal medical emergency
story. An accident, a sick grandchild, a personal medical emergency, a scary
ride in an ambulance--ideally a story about how if not for great emergency
response, they might not be here today. The :30 commercial is a
testimonial-style spot and the best way to make it believable and compelling is
to use a real person with a real story.

. . . if we find someone who would be willing to talk about this experience
on-camera, it is essential that they have (at least a little) acting experience.
Just hiring an actor and making up a story would force us to put up some sort of
disclaimer on the screen: "based on a true story" or "re-enactment", "actor,
based on a true story"--just what our opponents would love to see and are
waiting to shoot down.

IMPORTANT: We have tentatively scheduled the shoot date for this spot (1 day)
here in the East Bay between Sept. 13th-16th. Please go to:

http://www.saveemergencycare.org

This is the Proposition that we are casting for.
Please call me (925 963-0444) or email (croonerguy@comcast.net) if you, or
someone you know, is interested in this gig.
