Valley Shakespeare Festival is producing Shakespeares fairy tale romance
CYMBELINE through August 21st at the beautiful Retzlaff Estate Winery in
Livermore.
VSF is offering Pay What You Wish for industry professionals on Thursdays
August 12th and 19th. No reservation required, just bring a picture and
resume if you are an actor, or a Resume if you are Design/Tech/Production,
or show your TBA card.
CYMBELINE plays at Retzlaff Estate Winery at 1356 South Livermore Ave in
Livermore. Performances are Thursday (industry Pay What You Wish), Friday,
and Saturday at 7:30 p.m. The grounds will open an hour before performance
time for picnicking and wine tasting. Seating will be general admission.
Tickets are available by calling the Valley Shakespeare Festival Box Office
at (925) 556-9624 or by visiting the VSF website at www.valleyshakes.org.

CYMBELINE synopsis:
Princess Imogen has married a gallant soldier for love, and angered her
wicked stepmother who wished her own oafish son to inherit the throne.
Imogens new husband, though faithful and honest, is a commoner, so is
banished to Italy where he meets a smooth-tongued rogue who challenges him
to test Imogens faithfulness. The rogue, unable to sway the virtuous
Imogen, resorts to trickery that sets the Princess on a journey, the Queen
on a rampage, and the King to war.
