Altarena Playhouse in Alameda is mounting a production of "Scapino"
which opens October 29 and closes November 22. They need an accordion
or concertina player for the run of the show (Friday and Saturday nights
at 8pm, a couple of Sundays at 2pm) and have $200 for this position.
The show is in the style of Commedia del Arte and takes place in a
seaside restaurant in present-day Italy.

Also still looking to cast three roles. Sylvestro age (20-55) is
Scapino's sidekick and comic foil, Ottavio and Leandro (age 18-27) are
the sons of wealthy fathers and have each secretly married girls while
on vacation, resulting in mayhem and tomfoolery. Small stipend for
these roles. Other roles are already cast.
