The Willows Theatre in Concord is seeking an actor to play Amonasro
(Aida's Father) in their upcoming production of "Elton John and Tim
Rice's AIDA", directed by Andrew Holtz.

African American Male, 40 - 60, strong, regal presence. Amonasro is the
King of the Nubians, who has been captured by the Egyptians. This is a
non-singing role. Non-AEA. Travel Stipend and EMC points Available.

Rehearsals start January 10th. However, due to the scenic isolation of
this role, the actor would not have a heavy rehearsal commitment until
February 1st when we begin runthroughs. Show runs February 14th through
March 26th. 7 shows a week, mostly Wednesday through Sunday, with 3:30
Matinees on Wednesdays, 2 PM on Saturdays and 3 PM on Sundays.
