New 2004 Deadline for Landisman Fellowship Grants

The deadline for the 2004 Landisman Fellowship is rapidly approaching.
This year's deadline is March 5, 2004. The Eric Landisman Fellowship
program honors the memory of Eric Landisman and his work by supporting
the development of emerging Bay Area designers and technicians. Two
fellowships of $2,000-$5,000 per year will be awarded. To be eligible,
applicants must be training in an internship or mentorship or must have
a commitment with a producer for an upcoming project or series of
projects. The fellowship is to be awarded above and beyond the already
agreed-on arrangement with the producer. The monies will go directly to
the designer or technician and are not to go toward supplies or
production expenses. A steering panel of independent parties oversees
the program. The application and a list of 2003 fellows are available on
the Theatre Bay Area Web site at
