Wanna hear some First Take student news? I know you do!!!!

So here's the new stuff:

Susan Papa had a meeting with a very fancy, very BIG agency in Los Angeles=20
(note the use of capitals!!!). Olivia Horoshko went directly to producers fo=
r 6=20
Feet Under, James Carraway auditioned and got callbacks for both The Divisio=
n=20
and Charmed. Kathy McGraw got called in for JAG...and yours truly, email=20
announcement girl somewhat extraordinaire (I'm getting a big head now aren't=
 I? -=20
j/k), got called in for series regular roles on two new Pilots called Doing=20=
It=20
and One by One.

Now, these are for real!!!! Some people may think that all these audition=20
announcements are just gimmicks to get people into class, but they are all r=
eal!=20
And the success stories just a testimony to the kick butt coaching of Nancy=20
Berwid!

We may not have saucy 3 color brochures...or a fancy location (of our own, a=
t=20
least) but what we DO have is a kickin' teacher that KNOWS what she's talkin=
g=20
about. Not only does Nancy has such a good eye and a way of teaching us how=20
to bring out the magic in the scene, but she also teaches us about the busin=
ess=20
side of acting. I think that's one of the reasons her actors are so=20
successful. Nancy tries to prepare us for the reality of the industry and st=
acks the=20
deck against us in class, so that when we do go out into the "real" world, w=
e=20
know what to expect.

If you have not yet heard about this class, it is specifically geared toward=
=20
the Film and TV acting and audition process.=A0 Its main focus is to teach=20
actors of all levels to learn how to analyze scripts and make the audition=20
successful without prior rehearsal with a scene partner, just as it would ha=
ppen in an=20
audition situation. As a student, you will be challenged to look at scripts=20
in a new way that will help you to identify with them and make them more rea=
l=20
for you.=A0 As you progress through the class, Nancy provides personalized=20
coaching to help you improve your audition skills.=A0 This is essential in t=
hat it=20
will help you to learn "How to get the job!"=A0 Nancy also provides career=20
counseling, self-marketing, and networking advice dealing with the "in's and=
 out's" of=20
the Film and TV market.

So anyways, we are opening registration for our 8 Week Film/Tv SOUTH BAY=20
CLASS beginning on March 18th, from 4-7 on Thursdays in Los Gatos.

With the mounting success of our actors, space in our class is getting a wee=
=20
bit hard to come by (no fluff!!!). So contact us before someone else gets yo=
ur=20
