[BATA] Submission Opportunity

Now accepting submission for Bay Area SHorts (BASH)!  

As a special event of this year's Bay Area Playwrights Festival, four local will be invited to present 20 minutes of material in stage reading format.  Submissions can be a short play or an excerpt from a longer play.  If submitting a longer play, please indicate which section you would like to present.  Each piece will have 3 hours of rehearsal with actors and director and be presented as part of a joint program on Sunday, 8/1 @ 2pm at the Magic Theatre. Submissions must be postmarked by March 15th, 2004 and will be evaluated by our Selection Committee.  Final selections will be made at the end of April.  Writers will receive a small stipend and a festival pass.
