Pan Theater currently in the process of starting a Saturday based long form=20
improv improv troupe.
Those interested in auditioning should have improv training equivalent to=20
Improv Basics:

or similar theater/performance experience. Performers that have prior long=20
form experience or that have taken classes at Pan Theater will have first=20
preference.
The troupe will focus on both scene work and long form improv. Workshops and=

rehearsals will be held on Saturdays. Troupe members receive a discount on P=
an=20
Theater classes. We are looking for people that can commit to a minimum or=20
three rehearsals a month.
Please read all of the information below and if you are interested send your=

improv experience. Our current openings are for a Saturday performance troup=
e that=20
meets from 2pm to 5pm weekly. Additional rehearsals may be scheduled as=20

We focus on scene work and =E2=80=9Cdrama=E2=80=9D vs. comedy or short-form=20=
improv. While we=20
respect standup comedy and sketch work, our focus is unscripted plays (long=20
form). Often our work is funny, but just as often it is serious. Troupe=20
members range in age from twenty-something to fifty-something.=C2=A0
Most current members have prior improv training (intermediate level/two to=20
three years+) or theater training. Those auditioning should have either prio=
r=20
acting or improv training. All troupe members contribute for space rental fe=
es.=20
Troupe dues will be $40 per month. Any income from shows will be used to=20
offset the following month's dues. Troupes are capped at ten active members.=

Auditions will run approximately one hour and include: free association,=20
narrated story, some open scenes (improvised) and a simple connect long form=
=20
structure, we'll explain the structure- we're looking for a willingness to l=
earn=20
and take chances (that you can commit and go with the flow). Auditions will=20=

on January 31st, Saturdays from between 1pm to 4pm. For an Tuesday alternate=
