Pan Theater, improv by the people for the people, will be holding auditions=20
for our long form improv Saturday troupe on January 31st. The troupe will=20
eventually perform in small/low key monthly Tuesday night shows and Friday n=
ight=20
shows every other month.
We're looking for people with either improv theater or acting experience.=20
Youdon't need a ton of experience, but we prefer you have taken the equivale=
nt of=20
a basic or beginning improv class (or acting/performance experience). We=20
don't focus on improv comedy- we focus on improvised scenes/plays. Or, theat=
er=20
minus the script.=20

The first eight weeks of rehearsal will begin with a longform/improv=20
intensive. Performers will be expected to miss no more than one ofthe first=20=
eight-week=20
rehearsals. Additional workshops will be scheduled but will be optional.=20
Performers can also participate in Tuesday night workshops ona space availab=
le=20
basis.
Most of the people in the current troupe have between two to four years=20
ofimprov or related experience. The Saturday troupe- is a new troupe and we'=
re=20
looking for a mix of experience ranges. It=E2=80=99s a great chance to pract=
ice and=20
improve your improv and acting skills. We incorporate traditional theater ex=
ercises=20
with modern improv technique.

The troupe is self supported- all members contribute dues to space rental an=
d=20
related fees; any show income is applied against dues.Dues run $40 a month.=20
