[BATA] RTE's West Coast Premiere of Goner Opens Friday!

The President has been shot in the head and has been rushed to Bruno
Hauptman General Hospital, the worst hospital in the nation! What will
become of our President? Will this impact the November elections? Find out
by getting your tickets to see the West Coast Premiere of Goner by Brian
Parks!

Goner is a hysterical, ultra-rude, and extremely dark comedy about what
happens when the President is struck down by an assassin's bullet and his
life is in the hands of three surgeons that all went to offshore schools
that were combination medical universities and waffle houses. This
lightening fast comedy satirizes the condition of America today and nobody
is safe from it's cynical, sardonic barbs!

Director Peter Canavese calls Goner "A particularly delicious choice for
an election year with its portrayal of our worst nightmare of a rampantly
patriarchal presidency. We can all use a good laugh and more than
anything, Goner is just a full-throttle mission of comedy. The plan is to
deliver mile-a-minute laughs, like a Marx Brothers movie or a Zucker
Brothers movie or a Doobie Brothers song-pretty much anything with
brothers. Though Brian Parks includes satirical elements, the hospital
comedy isn't terribly meaningful. It's meant to bruise the funny bone."

Goner previews on June 10th and performs: June 11th, June 12th, June 13th,
June 17th, June 18th, June 19th, June 20th, June 24th, June 25th, and June
26th at Benson Theatre at Bellarmine College Preparatory (895 Emory
Avenue, San Jose). All performances begin at 8pm except Sunday. Sunday
performances begin at 2pm.

Tickets are $15.00 General Admission (Thursdays and Sundays) and $18.00
General Admission (Fridays and Saturdays). Students, teachers, seniors,
and Theatre Bay Area members qualify for discount tickets ($10/$12) with
