Synopsis:
Danielle has just accepted a proposal for marriage and tells here friend

PLOT SUMMARY:
"Veteran minor-league catcher Crash Davis is assigned to the Class A
Durham Bulls to handle the team's star rookie, wild pitcher "Nuke"
LaLoosh. Team groupie Annie Savoy romances both players, creating a

CHARACTER DESCRIPTIONS:
CRASH - Aging minor league ball player, brought up from another team to
mature a young pitcher.
ANNIE - A sultry small-town woman whose love of men is equaled only by
her love of baseball.
"NUKE" LA LOOSH - A top-pitching prospect with "a million-dollar arm and
a five-cent head". Nuke has been given a huge signing bonus, but so far
his play has been wildly uneven, walking and striking out equally large
numbers of batters.
