SCENE FROM THE EXONERATED

Academy of Art film student directing a scene from the off-Broadway play
The Exonerated. Looking for female actors and male actors.

SCENE DESCRIPTION:

After Sunny and her husband are taken into custody, Officer Warren
interrogates Sunny over her involvement in the recent murder of two
highway patrol officers.

CHARACTER DESCRIPTIONS:

SUNNY, African-American or Caucasian woman, 25 to late 30's. She is
polite, appreciative, vulnerable and willing to do anything to provide
for two children. She has a gentle southern draw and a determination to
find stability for her family.

GET PAID FOR FUN:

Actors will receive a $75.00 check and a VHS/DVD copy of the performance
upon completion of the project.

Bill's Bar. 

Bill's Bar is the story of Bill, an ambitionless young man who has never
gone after anything he's wanted. Without warning, opportunity is dropped
into his lap. Will he take it?

Casting for:

Molly, 25ish, the girl next door who grew up. (Lead)

Bill, late 20's. A a shy quiet man, good looking in a small way.(Lead)

Duane, late 30's. A competent blue-collar guy. He is Bill's best firend,
and in a way, his mentor.(Supporting w/ lots of lines)

Rick, late 20's. A obnoxious good looking knucklehead. He is loud,
overbearing, and attractive- and he knows it.(Supporting w/lines)

Drunk College boys- early twenties. Must be able to play a convincing
drunk. (Supporting w/lines)

Regulars, 65+ retired blue collar guys. The bar is their home away from
home. The more weathered and authentic you look trhe better. Looking for
at least one, up to 3 old men!(Supporting w/lines)

on: Monday, 03/22/04 at 4.00-4.30
