Sacred Heart Schools is a Catholic independent coed school grades PS- =
12. The
School is seeking applicants for a ten-month staff position for a =
technical
director/manager for its new 350 seat Performing Arts Center (PAC), =
which
will open in the fall of 2004.

Responsibilities include:

*	Manage daily operations of the theater spaces and scene shop
*	Work closely with the fine arts faculty as necessary to design and
implement production elements for the fine arts season
*	Supervise student and volunteer crews
*	Maintain lighting, sound and scenery equipment
*	Coordinate maintenance of the theater facilities as well as the
safety, security, and maintenance in all technical areas.
*	Coordinate the calendar for use of theater spaces=20
*	Oversee yearly budget for the theater

Qualifications

*	Minimum BA or BFA required; MFA preferred=20
*	3-5 years of professional experience
*	Demonstrated skills in construction, drafting, rigging, sound,
lighting and props
*	Proven skills in communication, organization and problem-solving
*	Prior supervisory experience working with students in grades K-12
*	Ability to successfully handle complex organizational demands
*	Computer literate (PC)
*	Must have valid US driver's license and acceptable DMV record
*	Flexibility and a good sense of humor
*	Collaborative work style and ability to multi-task
*	Physical ability to perform required work
