THE FUNDAMENTALS OF PLAYWRITING

a four-week, eight-session workshop facilitated by
PRINCE GOMOLVILAS

Award-winning playwright Prince Gomolvilas (Big Hunk o' Burnin' Love, The 
Theory of Everything, Bee, Mysterious Skin) invites you to take your 
neophyte status and beginner's luck out of the house and into the classroom 
for a playwriting workshop that covers the basic building blocks of 
playwriting. Why flail alone when you can do so with the support of a group? 
Put pen to paper with fun writing exercises that will ultimately reveal how 
fundamental elements like monologue, dialogue, and setting reveal character, 
plot, tone, and structure. If you've always wanted to write The Great 
American Play, or if you're interested in crossing over from another writing 
genre, or if you already write plays but you want to go back to basics, then 
this workshop is for you!
