I teach private voice lessons, specializing in
beginning-intermediate level singers, as well as
specifically actors learning to sing (transferring an
actor's vocabulary to that of the singing voice). I
will work with you on proper breathing techniques,
singing open vowels, articulation, projection, and
interpretation skills, as well as helping to increase
your confidence. Beginners are welcome!
I also have an extensive knowledge of the musical
theatre, and I am skilled at helping you find and work
on appropriate audition pieces that are not overused.
My rates are inexpensive: $50 for an hour, $35 for a
half hour, or if you want to pre-pay, $180 for four
weeks (four hours). I’ll also consider trade of
services (but not just anything – specifically I’d
primarily consider dance instruction, yoga, and/or
massage, or make an offer).
Please contact me at starkeee@yahoo.com, or
415-359-3008, if you are interested in taking a lesson
or for more information. I teach out of the lower Nob
Hill area of San Francisco. Serious inquiries only,
please.
