Play Writing Contest- Plays Wanted:

Pan Theater is accepting submissions for our first annual ten minute play
contest. Winning plays will be staged during July of 2005. For more

Troupe Auditions:

Pan Theater's Wednesday evening troupe is still seeking one new member.
Those auditioning should have some prior improv or theater training. An

NEW CLASS

Intro to Improv

Try improv in a quick one day class. This class will provide three lessons
from our popular Improv Basics session. Our Intro to Improv will be held on
19th. This one day class runs from 11am to 1pm and 2pm to 5pm. The cost is
$60 and includes a money back fun guarantee. Cost of this class can be
applied toward our next session of Improv Basics. For more information on

NEW CLASS

Meisner Technique I

Meisner Technique is an acting technique grounded in the reality of doing.

This class focuses on the famous repletion exercise and helps bring more
truth to both your improv and scripted acting. The exercise will help take
your work to new heights of expression and vulnerability. This is a daytime
session. Meisner Technique is only occasionally offered at Pan Theater. This
course will continue through the entire Meisner training cycle for those
that wish to continue after the first session. Register for this class soon.
This class will start on Monday, March 28th.

Improv Basics Classes Starting in March:
Our next class schedule is posted. We have Improv Basics classes beginning
on March 26th. This is for those looking to explore improv and learn the
basics. It is an intense and in depth class. Class is limited to ten

NEW CLASS
Intermediate Improv Performance Session and Acting Skills Class:

Pan Theater is pleased to announce an intermediate level/advanced class for
those that have already taken a basics or beginning improv class. This
session designed for those interested in performing. This session will
include a full Dramedy and Comma performance. The performance is optional
for those that choose not to perform.The final performance is limited to
seven performers and will include an additional rehearsal and Sunday evening
performance.

March Shows:

Our March shows are Friday the 11th  ,Friday the 18th and Saturday the 19th
at the Blue Bear Theater in San Francisco. The 11th and 18th will include an
8pm Dramedy and Comma show (long form and short form improv). There is also
a late night 10pm Dramedy set on all three nights. The show on the 19th will
include three shows: a 7pm Comma Short Form Set, an 8pm Dramedy and Comma
set and a 10pm Dramedy Set. Show prices are $5 for our early or late shows
and $10 for our main 8pm shows. Students and members of Theater Bay area
receive a discount.
