Come audition for the World Premiere of THUNDERBABE!

 

AUDITION:  Monday, March 21, 7-9 p.m. at the Altarena Playhouse - cold read
from script

CALLBACKS:  Wednesday, March 23, 7-9 p.m. at Altarena Playhouse - cold read
from script

Rehearsals begin: May 22, 2005

Performances: July 1-17, 2005

Director:  Ann Kuchins

 

Story:  Now in her late 40s, THUNDERBABE is comfortably retired to a life of
an urban soccer mom.  Suddenly, a ruthless super villainess breaks out of
prison and threatens to enslave the globe.  Can a middle-aged, out-of-shape,
out-of-practice super heroine squeeze back into her spandex and get her act
together in time to save the world?

 

Available roles: Taylor (F: 16-20), Toxic Passion (F: 20-30), Finchman, (M:
40s-50s), Walter (M: 40s-50s), and Hemlock/Narrator (M: 30s, double role -
Passion's henchman + narrator).  Script enclosed.  For more information,
